SAPIEN Technologies' courseware for Windows PowerShell V2 is all-new, and was designed and written by renowned PowerShell expert, author, and columnist Don Jones. Don is a multi-year recipient of Microsoft's Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award for his work with PowerShell, and is one of the worlds most experienced PowerShell authors and instructors.
Each day builds upon the ones that precede it; Day 2 can only be taught after delivering Day 1, for example. Each "series" corresponds to a full day. Days including fundamental concepts tend to run longer; days focusing on more advanced topics and hands-on labs are somewhat shorter.
Our lab set-up requires that each student have a Windows Server 2008 R2 computer, configured as a standalone domain controller, and that the student know the Administrator login for their computer. It's acceptable for this computer to be running inside a virtual machine.
We can conduct the course with student's computers running Windows 7 or any other Windows version that supports Windows PowerShell V2; however, students will be unable to complete certain labs related to Active Directory administration.
